Project Description

In 1959 Jim and wife, Nancy, purchased Burton Cottage Estate, which in later years would be the land where their first ‘home-made’ wines were produced, and officially established Jim Barry Wines.

Over the past six decades, the three generations of Barrys have collectively grown the business to establish a reputation for crafting quality Riesling and Shiraz while also experimenting with varieties such as Assyrtiko from Greece. They firmly believe that great wine is made in the vineyard, which is why they have been committed to owning their own sites since the beginning.

In 2019, Jim Barry Wines celebrated 60 years, and they were also awarded ‘2020 Halliday Companion Winery of the Year’.

The Halliday awards night is an annual event, and these awards are highly anticipated in the wine industry.  Knowing this award was coming, Brand Warrior Communications was engaged to develop a communication campaign to promote this win.

As firm believers in an integrated marketing approach, we created a combination of print, digital, social, and signage to announce this news.  We worked closely with Hardie Grant on the announcement and follow up communication on behalf of Jim Barry Wines.

With the news announced in August, Brand Warrior Communications is currently working on stage two for this project.  So, watch this space!
