Brand Warrior Communications began working with Mitchell Wines late 2018, and we have assisted the Mitchell family with a range of marketing initiatives. The most exciting of these projects has been the creation and branding of their newest wine collection – Kinsfolk by Mitchell Wines.
This project was a collaboration with industry leading creatives to produce a brand identity for the third generation of Mitchell family. This project required us to develop a brand strategy, brand identity, brand story, packaging, marketing collateral, digital marketing communications and drive public relations.
The release of the Kinsfolk range is symbolic for the Mitchell family, as it represents the changing of the guard. Our role was to bring their ideas to life, working closely with Angus, Edwina and Hilary to ensure we met expectations.
The Kinsfolk range includes an off-dry Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, Grenache, and Shiraz. These wines are small batch, individual wines that express unique, single vineyard characteristics from the single vineyards in which they are grown, with each wine having a distinct personality, much like the members of the Mitchell clan.
